Data controller

Data, purposes and legal bases

Depending on the features you use, FEROX YT may process the categories below. The website has no behavioural advertising, commercial profiling or public user account.

• Website access and security. Technical data required for connection and service operation, including the IP address, date and time, requested resource, request result and browser type. Purposes: provide the website, prevent abuse, diagnose incidents and comply with applicable obligations. Legal bases: legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
• Toolbox and chat. Data you enter or choose to transmit, together with session information strictly required for the requested feature. Tools presented as local remain on your device; network features and chat transfers send only the data needed to perform the requested action. Legal basis: legitimate interests in providing and securing these optional services.
• Audience measurement. Information limited to general website traffic and usage, without advertising purposes or cross-site tracking. Purpose: understand website use and improve its content and usability. Legal basis: legitimate interests, subject to the conditions applicable to audience measurement.
• Email correspondence. Identity, contact details, message content and attachments you choose to send. Purposes: answer your request and manage the related relationship. Legal basis: depending on context, pre-contractual measures, performance of a contract, legal obligations or legitimate interests.

Data you choose to enter is optional unless it is required for the feature you request; without it, that feature cannot be provided.

Retention periods

• Technical access logs: no longer than one year, unless an incident or legal obligation requires longer retention.
• Audience measurement: detailed data for no longer than ninety days; aggregated reports for no longer than thirteen months.
• Chat: ordinary messages and files are not retained after delivery. Temporary messages created with a share link are retained until the chosen expiry, for no longer than thirty days. Operators may enable optional session restoration, which is disabled by default and expires after four consecutive inactive hours, or twenty-four hours for super operators. It does not retain conversation content. Other session and security data is removed when it is no longer needed to operate the service or prevent abuse.
• Emails unrelated to a contractual relationship: no longer than twelve months after the last exchange. Contract-related or legally required communications are retained for the periods necessary for the relationship, applicable obligations and limitation periods.

Audience measurement and preference

FEROX YT uses audience measurement solely for its own general statistics. It is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking your browsing across other websites. You may disable it on this device at any time.

Recipients and transfers

Data is accessible only to authorised FEROX YT personnel and, where necessary, service providers acting on its behalf. FEROX YT does not sell personal data. Where data must be processed outside the European Economic Area, FEROX YT applies the safeguards required by the GDPR where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and its legal basis, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of your data, object to certain processing and, where the conditions are met, exercise your right to data portability. Proof of identity is requested only where necessary to verify the person making the request.
